That’s Quack-Tasctic

Another installment of FORMA’s pun-filled and informative JOC newsletter is winging its way toward your inbox

We’re big fans of the Job Order Contracting delivery method here at FORMA–a unique and flexible on-call arrangement that allows us to efficiently plan and manage small and complex projects in collaboration with our public clients. As a major added benefit, we have found that FORMA’s JOC program also serves as an excellent springboard for small and historically underutilized local businesses looking to break into public contracting.

FORMA’s small business incubator offers developing firms opportunities via Job Order Contracting that scale to the size and skillset of the contractor, with access to a pipeline of work that allows them to grow. Offering this repeat work, administrative support, and the ability to create compound crews where FORMA staff work directly with our subcontractors fosters trust and ensures success.

In our current e-newsletter, Unlocking Inclusion Success, we take a closer look at this specific benefit-of-JOC in an interview with FORMA subcontractors, Barmac Painters–a small, woman-owned business established in 2021.

To get the word out to more public agencies and OMWBEs about the benefits of Job Order Contracting and to celebrate its myriad opportunities and accomplishments, we’re circulating a JOC success story via emailed newsletter, like this one, every few months.
