“The crowd was out the door waiting for your tables…My kid was all fired up about the crane and legos for the rest of the night…” – FWPS parent

FORMA’s booth at Federal Way Public Schools’ seventh annual STEM Night was Eras-Tour-esque.

Attracting a record-breaking crowd of over 3,600–this year’s STEM Exploration Night was Federal Way Public Schools’ biggest and best ever.

An event we look forward to every year, FORMA’s booth was well stocked with kid-size hardhats and high-vis vests and offered engagement opportunities for students of all ages. Attendees were able to build LEGO crane kits, talk to our own grown-up scholars about internship opportunities and career paths open to them via STEM studies, and even see how we use tech like Total Station in our work. FORMA’s PVC pipe crane was the real hit of the evening with a never-ending queue of kids excited to hoist and fly cardboard “bricks” from here to there.

If you missed it, check out more about this incredible event here, and be sure to mark your calendars for next year, we can’t wait to try to top this.
