Distinguished Leader & Proud Chicken-Hat Wearer

FORMA’s Director of Preconstruction is a complex character and a dedicated member of the Thurston County community, and last night he was honored with a Distinguished Leader Award

A fifth generation Olympia GC, FORMA’s own Drew Phillips was recognized at last night’s Distinguished Leader Awards–an annual Thurston County Chamber Foundation event recognizing individuals who demonstrate outstanding initiative, inspire others, and make a significant impact in our community and beyond.

We’re so pleased to share the wonderful accompanying video; showcasing Drew’s personal connection to the local community, his enthusiasm for taking on challenges, (his legendary chicken-hat), and his instrumental involvement in some of FORMA’s best know local projects–including Olympia’ new Hands on Children’s Museum and Cebula Hall at Saint Martin’s University, one of the highest rated LEED Platinum certified buildings in the Western Hemisphere.

“So that’s the kind of guy he is. He puts his heart and soul into this community because he loves it and he really enjoys seeing the community become a better place to live and to raise families.”  – Rick Panowicz, Chair of Saint Martin’s Board of Regents

Congratulations Drew!
