These are Their Stories ((Law & Order dun-dun))
Construction projects bring together an incredible mix of tradespeople, engineers & architects, craftsmen, and problem-solvers with diverse backgrounds and unique skill sets.
To celebrate this mix and provide a glimpse into the wide range of opportunities available in our industry, FORMA is posting rotating signage at a few of the schools we’re building–featuring interviews with a handful of the crew members working on site; who they are, what they do, and how they got there.
At our James Madison Middle School Project in West Seattle where we’re building a 2-story classroom addition, our multi-media learning wall currently hi-lights Larry Calvert, a Journeyman Carpenter and a third generation tradesman, whose father Loren Calvert has been a FORMA Superintendent since 1996.
Swing by to learn a little more about Larry before we post our next deep dive on Omar Garcia–a Foreman at Vanderlip & Co who will be responsible for important work as our project focus moves to interior scopes.
And if you can’t make it out to West Seattle, follow along via Instagram to watch us build!
