The Strength of the Pack is in the Wolf, and the Strength of the Wolf is in the Pack

“FORMA has been amazing to work with” – Ray Cattin, Wallace Elementary School Principal

We were on hand yesterday for a limited in-person (but mostly virtual) ribbon-cutting and tour of the new 58,000 sf Wallace Elementary we’ve been building with the Kelso School District that will serve preschool, kindergarten, and 1st – 5th grade students.

Excited students and proud board members were on hand to celebrate the new school–thanking voters for supporting the bond measure and acknowledging the school’s strong ties to history and community–Wallace has been a neighborhood school for over 100 years.

Principal Ray Cattin led a quick virtual tour through the new building–showcasing the state of the art new STEM lab–the first of its kind for the District–that will give students an opportunity to develop their skills in technology, robotics, 3d printing, and even coding. The gym, library, stage & multi-purpose area were also featured along the way, with introductions to a few staff members and several appearances by Wally, the school’s delightful wolf mascot.

Congratulations Kelso, and thank you! To see how this beautiful new school came together, head over to the project’s Instagram feed, where we memorialized its construction.
