Tour the new Environmental Learning Center – without leaving the comfort of your chair.

SAMI students in the Tacoma School District attended classes for the first time last week in the brand new Environmental Learning Center at Point Defiance. A one-of-a-kind project built in partnership with the District and Metro Parks Tacoma, the new 30,000 sf facility houses classrooms, science labs, administrative offices, and space for Zoo staff and volunteers.
