Steel Toppings

The final beam has been signed, flagged, and flown into place at Mirror Lake Elementary School

We celebrated the topping-out of Mirror Lake Elementary School this morning with stakeholders from the Federal Way School District, our GC/CM team, school staff, and members of the community.

Just one of three new elementary schools we’re currently building in Federal Way–the final beam on this structure is a major milestone–marking 675,000 lbs of steel columns, beams, and roof joists erected.

On schedule and making great progress, our next major milestone involves getting the roof on and drying-in the building in mid March.

Don’t blink – this one will be finished in no time.
