North Fort Chapel, Joint Base Lewis-McChord
We collaborated with the US Army Corps of Engineers and our design-build team members to adapt this pre-engineered metal structure to the programmatic needs of the North Fort Chapel. Housing classrooms and kitchen, admin, child care, and assembly spaces, the Chapel was built to Bronze SPiRiT specifications–an Army-specific sustainability rating system based on USGBC LEED requirements.
An important facility on Base during the best of times, the Chapel serves a particularly critical need during war time, and this one has been no exception since its construction, offering comfort and support to our service members and their families at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
