Enumclaw HS Occupied Modernization & Expansion

FORMA completed major multi-phased renovations and additions at Enumclaw High School. A three year project impacting every building on the occupied school campus, FORMA began by detailing the project’s overall phasing and logistics plan into smaller, scope-specific sequencing plans to ensure subcontractors remained focused on their current work, while our project team tracked milestones, staffing, and budget progress against the overall project plan.

Beginning with abatement, demolition, and seismic work adjacent to occupied areas, FORMA built a temporary sound wall to separate students and faculty from the noise and dust of an active construction site. Weekly owner meetings and daily communication with FORMA’s onsite contact ensured that school employees were informed and included in discussions about ongoing & upcoming activities and had an opportunity to weigh in on potential impacts to campus operations.

FORMA’s expert logistics planning, coordination with impacted stakeholders, adaptability, and precision sequencing enabled us to reach substantial completion of this fully occupied campus more than 7 months ahead of schedule–and we’ve had a lot of fun along the way, crushing milestones, and interacting with students, staff, and the community. Thank you Enumclaw, it’s been a pleasure.

The process for this construction project has been absolutely magnificent.

Mike Nelson, Superintendent
Enumclaw School District
