Centralia HS Occupied Modernization
Completed nearly a year ahead of schedule, our GC/CM team’s multi-phased work on the occupied Centralia HS campus involved significant seismic improvements, as well as other systems and infrastructure upgrades throughout to bring the legacy 1968 school up to current codes & standards and provide new, state of the art learning facilities for its 1,100+ students in grades 9-12.
Carefully sequenced around ongoing operations, our work involved the demo and reconfiguration of 140,000 sf and approximately 20,000 sf of new construction. The completely rebuilt high school includes a new performing arts venue, state of the art CTE labs and shops; specialized facilities for music, art, science, and computer engineering; a new library / media center, commons area, classrooms, staff offices, and secure reception area; and a vastly improved gymnasium with new locker rooms.
