Introducing the Boulevard Road Project
We’re pleased to announce that FORMA is teaming with Habitat for Humanity and Artisans Group to develop and deliver a new affordable housing project right here in Olympia.
Led by FORMA PM Michael Miltimore, a Phius Passive Certified Builder, FORMA is working closely with Artisans Group and South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity to program, design, and deliver over 115 units of affordable housing on a 10-acre site — slated to be the largest passive multi-family complex in the country.
Design is already underway on the development, which will include a mix of townhomes, cottages for seniors, multi-family units, and retail/commercial spaces; with community input a vital part of the process.
To that end, our project team presented preliminary design concepts to enthusiastic community members last week at a workshop held at the Olympia Regional Learning Academy (another FORMA project), where visioning, values, and safe school walking routes were discussed and great progress was made.
Stay tuned for updates as we work – this is an exciting one!
