FORMA was thrilled to be a part of another wildly successful STEAM Exploration Night hosted by Federal Way Public Schools.

With an astounding 4,250 in attendance–Thursday evening’s STEAM Exploration Night was Federal Way Public Schools’ biggest and best ever, putting-to-shame even last year’s record-breaking number of 3,600. 

An event our best and brightest have been scheming on and preparing for for months, FORMA’s booth was well stocked with kid-size hardhats and high-vis vests and offered hands-on engagement opportunities for students of all ages. Attendees were able to push around and level kinetic sand and plastic boulders in their “job site” bins in order to lay a foundation and build simple structures, talk to our own grown-up scholars about internship opportunities and career paths open to them via STEAM studies, and even see how we use tech like Total Station in our work.
