“…addressing difficult questions, challenging the status quo and raising expectations”
Blakely Elementary School named the 2021 James D. MacConnell Award Winner
We’re thrilled to congratulate Mithun Design, along with the rest of our GC/CM team and the Bainbridge Island community on Blakely Elementary School’s recent award of this prestigious international honor.
A4LE’s annual James D. MacConnell awards program recognizes excellence in learning environments that “positively affect the teaching and learning process while serving as an example of sound planning principles…honoring projects that stimulate systemic change in the educational system by addressing difficult questions, challenging the status quo and raising expectations.” – Emphasizing the critical connection between the planning process and the end result.
We are beyond proud to be a part of this exceptional project team, this close-knit community, and this one-of-a-kind new elementary school.
