“A Much-Needed Rebuild Comes to Life”

FORMA Construction proudly presents the new Southworth Elementary School

Originally opened in 1976, Southworth Elementary School in Yelm finally has fresh new digs, courtesy of FORMA’s GC/CM team which also recently built the new Yelm Middle School–opened to students last Fall.

We were proud to celebrate the beautiful new, culturally-connected school at a ribbon cutting and grand opening event last week, well-attended by the Yelm community, members of the Nisqually Tribe, and four generations of the Southworth family.

For more on this incredible new school and how the rich history of the area was carefully folded into its design and construction, check out this recent piece in Thurston Talk.
