FORMA’s celebrating the opportunities and successes made possible via Job Order Contracting
Neither a pre-qualified Roster arrangement nor a low bid contract, JOC is its own unique and adaptable alternative delivery method that allows public agencies to select a GC partner for a two-year term of on-call collaboration and expert procurement to deliver a wide range of smaller scale projects (typically under $500K per work order).
FORMA’s successful development of a responsive, hands-on special projects team to service this delivery type has resulted in the award of 39 Job Order Contracts from 19 individual public agencies since 2010–over 1,850 work orders completed. Developing detailed scopes of work and cost estimates based off of industry standard unit price books, FORMA has created a transparent and efficient work order proposal process to deliver these small projects as quickly and economically as possible, hand-in-hand with local subcontracting communities.
Each year, our responsive JOC teams perform hundreds of wide ranging construction repairs and upgrades on public facilities and infrastructure across the region–with tangible benefits for the civic owners, client agencies, local taxpayers, and the small and historically underutilized businesses in the community with whom we contract to complete the work.
