This building is a real asset to our campus and our educational program, and I feel like FORMA's team did a terrific job of helping us capture value and utility within an appealing aesthetic context

Applied Technology Building, SPSCC
This 45,000 sf, LEED Gold certified building houses the Welding and Automotive Instructional departments for South Puget Sound Community College. Sited in a dense forest, the building was cut into the slope of a hillside to fit unobtrusively into its surrounding natural context.
Our design-build team worked closely with faculty and colleagues to carefully document and anticipate the specialized systems and programmatic requirements specific to a facility of this type. Floor plans, materials, way finding, and security were all designed and analyzed to ensure that proper containment, ventilation, and fire suppression measures were incorporated into the building.
