86 little yellow hard hats. There’s no more. We’ve used them all.
Sunrise Elementary School Groundbreaking
We know, it’s not technically Summer for more than a month, but we’re feeling it around here, what with the sunshine, and the longer days, and the schools starting to let out for the year. We’ve been eating our lunch on the roof of our Seattle office, watching the baseball fans meander and the food trucks set up on Occidental from the roof of our Seattle office, enjoying a well-deserved, cold libation at the end of a hard work day in the company of seagulls with an incredible view of the Sound from the roof of our Seattle office…
Anyways – when we’re not on the roof of our Seattle office, we are out on job sites building buildings. And mostly we’re building schools these days. We feel so fortunate to be in this market at this moment, getting to work with talented colleagues and passionate clients to deliver incredible new school buildings for big and little kids in neighborhoods across western Washington.
We love kicking off construction with the community and the students and school boards, and we did it again just this morning at Sunrise Elementary in Puyallup. For a taste of what that looked like, check out the District’s facebook page, and to stay up to date on construction progress a we build, check out the project’s new Instagram account.
