Kicking off Major Construction in Anacortes

FORMA joined GC/CM team members from the Anacortes School District and Hutteball & Oremus Architecture to break ground on Phase I of a major $60M+ project to replace Anacortes High School.

Work begins with the complete renovation of Rice Field. Plans include a new stadium to seat 1500 and synthetic turf football field, as well as installations for track and field events such as pole vault and discuss; and new ticketing, concessions, and restroom facilities. A new Veterans’ memorial plaza will honor Americans who served in wars from 1775 to present day–including AHS alumni, two of whom have been awarded the Medal of Honor.

Work is already underway and we encourage everyone to join us on Instagram (forma_ahs) for progress photos and construction updates or go check-out our live webcam. Go Hawks!
