Topping Out the Steel at MTA

Mason County community members and FORMA crews gather for a major milestone at the MTA Community Center.

The final sections of structural steel were set in place yesterday at a ceremonial event to mark a major milestone in the construction of this new Transit-Community Center in SheltonWith the building’s skeleton complete, we are on schedule to deliver this unique facility  in early 2015.

FORMA Construction was selected to repurpose the 1950’s era Shelton Armory building into the Transit-Community Center (T-CC) for the Mason Transit Authority, with the vision of integrating public transit and social service programs and resources under one centrally located roof.
