Job Order Contracting

Offering Job Order Contracting services to public clients throughout the Northwest, FORMA’s approach reduces the lead times and red tape associated with small repair, renovation, and tenant improvement projects. Developing detailed scopes of work and cost estimates based off of industry standard unit price books, FORMA creates a transparent and efficient work order proposal process to deliver these small projects as quickly and painlessly as possible.

FORMA has served as the Job Order Contractor for the State of Washington; UW and the Port of Everett; NPRSA; King & Snohomish Counties; Sound Transit; the Lake Washington School District; the Covington Water District; and the Cities of Mercer Island, Snoqualmie, Shoreline, Bellevue, Kirkland, Auburn, Edmonds, Renton, Everett, Bellingham, and Seattle. Each year, our responsive JOC teams perform hundreds of wide ranging construction repairs and upgrades on public facilities and infrastructure across the region.

To get the word out to more public agencies and disadvantaged businesses about the benefits of Job Order Contracting and to celebrate its myriad opportunities and accomplishments, we’re circulating a JOC success story each month via newsletter, like this one. If you’d like to be added to our distribution list, contact us here.

…small jobs often come with oversize issues. And this work order, with its specialty construction needs, has been true to form. But with FORMA's excellent communication, creative problem solving efforts and sheer tenacity, you've managed to find solutions to the challenges that threatened to derail the project.
