FORMA’s at the Zoo

FORMA begins work on the new Tiger and Sloth Bear habitats at Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle

We are excited to announce that FORMA was recently awarded the contract to build Phase II of the new Bamboo Forest Reserve Exhibit at Woodland Park Zoo.

No stranger to working at WPZ, FORMA recently completed Phase I of the initiative, which included a habitat for Asian small-clawed otters, an adjacent Tropical Aviary, and Kid’s Camp play area; and we worked with the Zoo to build the award-winning Humboldt Penguin Experience in 2009.

Phase II, scheduled to open in May 2015, will include innovative habitats for Malayan Tigers and Sloth Bears, as well as a Conservation Action Center to showcase important research and enjoy hands-on activities aimed at making a difference in these Asian ecosystems in the wild.
